Values

Values

Catholic Schools in their essence are about promoting values education. Our values are drawn from the Gospels but of course many or most are values shared with other religions and non-religious groups.

Catholic schools welcome the Commonwealth Government's strategy to promote values education in all schools. Each catholic school in the Archdiocese of Sydney proudly displays the 'Nine Values for Australian Schooling' poster.  Values forums for students, staff and parents have been held or are being planned in the next 12 months to further promote knowledge, understanding and implementation of values education.

Sydney Catholic schools are proud to have pioneered a values across the curriculum approach (since 1992).
